Contemplative Outreach
of SouthEast Wisconsin
Contemplative Outreach of Southeast Wisconsin, COSEW, has served Greater Milwaukee, the Fox Valley and other regions of Wisconsin since 1989.

We are a chapter of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd., a spiritual network founded by Trappist monk, Fr. Thomas Keating. It consists of contemplative communities and individuals across the world.

The method is rooted in the earliest Christian teachings of Jesus Christ and based in scripture, the ancient practices of the desert mothers and fathers, as well as Christian mystics and saints such as John Cassian, Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross and Thomas Merton.

Our mission is to teach centering prayer, a process of Divine transformation, and to support those groups and individual who have centering prayer as their spiritual practice.
