A Silent Saturday provides a couple hours each month that are set aside for Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, spiritual teaching and reflection. There are currently two monthly and one quarterly events available. The events are free and do not require pre-registration, however we appreciate any donations (yellow link on this page).

Silent Saturday Zoom
First Saturday is now available on Zoom. Your group leader is Kathryn Ann Kobelinski.
This is a morning of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina from 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Two 25-minute sits and Lectio Divina (monastic style) with sharing followed by a 20-minute sit. Come for part of the morning or the entire morning, as your schedule allows.
Each time you participate in the Silent Saturday program through COSEW, consider a monthly or an annual donation. Clicking the DONATE button at the top of this page will allow you to make a donation today. Please select "Scholarship Fund" under the box "My donation is related to...". This is a morning of Centering Prayer from 9:00 to 11:00 am with two 25 minute sits. The prayer time is followed by a video (about 30-40 minutes) with conversation in response.

Madison Chapter
This is a quarterly event - second Saturday of every third month (dates
following). Contemplative Outreach of Madison is inviting you to a scheduled ZOOM meeting or in-person (LIVE) Silent Saturday.
​
We begin at 10:00 AM Central Time. We offer three consecutive 20-minute
periods of prayer. You are welcome to join us for one, two or all three.
​
Between the sits we will have a short meditative walk for those meeting in
person at the church. If you are joining by Zoom, we encourage you to do
whatever prayerful silent act that feels right to you between the prayer.
