Event Description

Creating a Zentangle is a form of art meditation. By using a structure and simple tools, it encourages you to relax your mind and it gives a calm, deliberate focus to what you are doing. The term Zentangle comes from the words ‘zen’ (the Buddhist meditative philosophy for balancing the mind) and ‘tangle’. Most of us have tangles in our lives that need some Zen, don’t we? During our contemplative time we will draw a ‘Hansa’ (a Jewish and Islamic symbol for protection.) Notice the center of the Hansa has an ‘eye’ incorporated into the design. The instructor is Patricia Rass. Her email is patriciarass@sbcglobal.net This session is in-person at: Trinity Woods Intergenerational Living Community at: 9525 W. Burleigh Street Milwaukee, WI 53222
