Event Description
What is it, you might be asking? Every March, our parent organization, Contemplative Outreach, Ltd., designates a Saturday and invites all the chapters throughout the world to gather and spend the day in prayer. What is COSEW planning? Contemplative Outreach of Southeast WI (COSEW), the Wisconsin chapter, is planning to participate in this global event, offering a day of prayer and enrichment. Ruth Hoenick, a spiritual companion and retreat facilitator, will be our presenter with reflections on the gifts of the Spirit. Who is invited? YOU are invited to attend! What are the details? We will gather in Elm Grove, 890 Elm Grove Road, Village Court, Building 2, lower level, at First Fruits, 9am – 12:30pm CT on Saturday March 4th. What are the benefits? You will be praying with the global membership of Contemplative Outreach, You will connect with members of our COSEW chapter, You will deepen your relationship with God during Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina; You will have a transforming impact on society. You will hear Ruth Hoenick’s reflections on the Gifts of the Spirit. Please join us! (This is an in-person gathering without Zoom.) It is helpful for the planning team to know if you are coming so please register, but drop-ins are welcome. If you are able, a $10 donation is appreciated.* *Although a donation of $10 is suggested, no one will be turned away. First Fruits is located in The Village Court, 890 Elm Grove Road, Building 2, Suite 6, Elm Grove, WI. Village Court is behind BMO Harris Bank, off of Elm Grove Road & Wall Street. From the Parking Lot – go up the stairs or ramp, cross the plaza between the Buildings, enter the Building 2 door on the right and go down the stairs or elevator to First Fruits, Suite 6. Cancelation Policy
COSEW General Policy for Cancellations/Refunds: The amount paid for a workshop/class may be applied to a future workshop/class or applied to COSEW as a tax-deductible donation. Retreats: The deposit for retreats is non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable if cancelled at least 5 days before the beginning of the retreat.
