The Welcoming Prayer

Event Description

The Welcoming Prayer helps to dismantle acquired emotional programs and to heal the wounds of a lifetime by addressing them where they are stored – in the body. Through it we consent to God’s presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. It welcomes the Holy Spirit into the particular pain we experience, whether physical, emotional or mental. The Welcoming Prayer, like Centering Prayer, is designed to help us allow the Divine Therapist to remove the obstacles that keep God’s all-powerful grace from flowing in and through us and out into a world in desperate need. It provides a means for moving deeper into trust and intimacy with the living God that Jesus experienced. In-Person at First Fruits Center, Elm Grove, WI Cost: $25.00* Saturday, February 25, 2023 9:30 am to 11:30 am CST – Part 1 11:30 am to 12:00 pm CST – Lunch Break 12:00 pm to 2:15 pm CST – Part 2 Coffee, tea, water and snacks will be provided, but lunch is not included. We will be taking orders for Jimmy John subs for anyone interested, otherwise, please plan on bringing your lunch. Thank you. First Fruits is located in The Village Court, 890 Elm Grove Road, Building 2, Suite 6, Elm Grove, WI. Village Court is behind BMO Harris Bank, off of Elm Grove Road & Wall Street. From the Parking Lot – go up the stairs or ramp, cross the plaza between the Buildings, enter the Building 2 door and go down the stairs or elevator to First Fruits, Suite 6. We support individuals who feel more comfortable wearing a mask but they are not required for this in-person workshop. Cancelation Policy

COSEW General Policy for Cancellations/Refunds: The amount paid for a workshop/class may be applied to a future workshop/class or applied to COSEW as a tax-deductible donation. Retreats: The deposit for retreats is non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable if cancelled at least 5 days before the beginning of the retreat.
